Dr. Christos Kalloniatis holds a PhD from the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication of the University of the Aegean and a master degree on Computer Science from the University of Essex, UK and a bachelor degree from the Department of Informatics of the Technological Institute of Athens. Currently he is a professor of the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication of the University of the Aegean and director of the Privacy Engineering and Social Informatics (PrivaSI) research laboratory. He is also a member of the board of Hellenic Data Protection Authority and a former member of the board of the Hellenic Authority for Communication Security and Privacy. His main research interests are the elicitation, analysis and modelling of security and privacy requirements in traditional and cloud-based and AI systems, the analysis and modelling of forensic-enabled systems and services, Privacy Enhancing Technologies and the design of Information System Security and Privacy in Cultural Informatics. He is an author of several refereed papers in international scientific journals and conferences and has served as a visiting professor in many European Institutions. Prior to his academic career he has served at various places on the Greek public sector including the North Aegean Region and Ministry of Interior, Decentraliastion and e-Governance. He has a close collaboration with the Laboratory of Information & Communication Systems Security of the University of the Aegean and the Systems Security Laboratory of the University of Piraeus. He has served as a member of various development and research projects.

Eleni Klaoudatou is an Information Security Consultant with more than 15 years of experience in many information security projects of large public and private organizations in Greece. She has also been involved in several European and national research projects. Her expertise focuses in the areas of information security governance and compliance with international standards and regulatory frameworks, IT risk analysis, contingency planning and information security awareness programs. She holds a PhD in Information Security, an MSc in Technologies and Management of Information Systems, both from the University of the Aegean, and a BSc in Electronics Engineering from TEI of Athens. She also holds the professional certifications: Information Technology Service Management Systems Lead Auditor (ISO/IEC 20000), ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management and PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate in Project Management. She has published in total six research articles in international journals and conference proceedings in the area of security and privacy in wireless and mobile communication environments for medical applications. Currently, she works with Cyber Noesis PC as Cybersecurity Professional Services Manager.

Within the realm of Information Security, Dr. Grigorios Fragkos is a renowned professional with an extensive portfolio of high-profile projects. With more than 24 years of experience in the field, scientific contributions, forward-thinking initiatives, thought-leading publications, and a distinctive involvement in the academic circles, he has collaborated with numerous organizations worldwide, sharing his expertise and actively ensuring that these entities, across diverse sectors, implement robust security-in-depth strategies and practices.

After spending several years in the UK, Dr. Fragkos was invited to the UAE to contribute to a thought-leadership initiative aimed at safeguarding the future of smart, digital ecosystems from a cyber resilience perspective. Among his many notable projects—spanning over 15 countries both regionally and internationally—his work includes engagements with multiple governmental and federal entities, large organizations, and mega-events such as EXPO 2020 Dubai.

Dr. Fragkos’s background also includes active participation in the InfoSec community (e.g., Security BSides, OWASP, etc.), delivering talks, and participating in panel discussions at various security conferences and summits, as well as reviewing and designing cyber-incident scenarios for ENISA’s Cyber Europe exercises.

Mr Arapantonis, is a graduate of the Department of Computer Systems of the Piraeus Technological Education Institute, with postgraduate degrees in Networks and Distributed Systems, as well as in Information Security from Chalmers and Luleå University of Technology (Sweden) respectively. He has more than a decade of experience in research and development of Advanced Driver Assistant, and Autonomous Driving Systems at Volvo Cars and Volvo Group, specializing in cybersecurity in embedded systems. Mr Arapantonis has now transitioned to the energy sector, as Senior Information Security Officer at one of Sweden’s largest energy producers.

Elias Spyridon Efthymiopoulos has diverse and extensive work experience with more than 15 years of continuous presence in the IT and cybersecurity sector, while he currently holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the InstaShop company of the Delivery Hero group, with presence in over 70 countries.
He is a graduate of the Department of Information Technology and Communications of the School of Technological Applications of the former Technological Educational Institute of Serres (2012). He holds an MSc in Cybersecurity from the University of West Attica (2021) and from 2022 until today he is a PhD student in the field of “Information Security and Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Cyber Threat Intelligence and Risk Management” at the Department of Computer Engineering of the International Hellenic University.
He has also received various certifications from institutions and organizations such as SANS, ISACA, ISC2, CISCO, Proofpoint, Orca Security , AttackIQ, EC-Council, Offensive Security covering a range of topics related to Cyber Security, Offensive Security , Risk Management, Cyber Threat Intelligence as well as Digital Forensics.

Niko Pissanidis is an IT specialist with over 20 years of professional experience in designing and building large-scale information systems with expertise in J2EE and SOA technologies.

During his career he has been involved, from various positions, in a number of ICT projects and Cyber security positions. Proficient in the field of S.O.C. managing, Web penetration testing, ISO 27001:2013 Internal Auditing, Network and Software Security Consulting and Cyber Defense Evaluator in NATO.

Had the privilege for three years 2014-17 to serve as the first Greek Army Officer in NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (NATO CCD COE), Tallinn (Estonia) at the Technical Branch.

He is active ambassador in Security BSides Athens conference leveraging his experience as Technical Track Manager (2014-2017) in International Conference on Cyber Conflict, CyCon, hosted by the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence.
