Message from the Cybersecurity Program’s Director

Distinguished students,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Postgraduate Program of Cybersecurity which aims to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to deal with today’s digital world challenges. We live in the era of advanced digital technology, the age of cyberspace and digital information. Every activity is being digitised, including work, education, governance and entertainment. The entire planet is an interconnected cyber network.

Cybersecurity has become a global emergency. Every eleven seconds, an organization around the world is hit by a ransomware attack, with an annual increase in threats at an 11% rate. Hospitals, ministries, universities, large infrastructures have have been attacked, as in an interconnected world, attacks on the cyber attacks can easily spread.

Our goal is to prepare professionals who will not only meet the challenges, but also lead the effort to protect digital infrastructure and privacy.

We will be here to support you in every step of this journey. I am confident that with your participation and our guidance, you will achieve your goals.
